These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Jobrador platform at jobrador.com (“the Service”), operated by Jobrador (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Jobrador is an AI-powered career search platform that helps you discover job opportunities, evaluate your fit, generate tailored application documents, and manage your job search. The Service uses artificial intelligence to score jobs, create resumes and cover letters, and provide career insights based on the profile information you provide.

2. Account Requirements

To use Jobrador, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Maintain only one account per person
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others
• Promptly update your account information if it changes

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service to generate fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive application materials
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

4. AI-Generated Content

Jobrador uses AI to generate resumes, cover letters, career insights, and other content. You understand and agree that:

• AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and suggestion, not as final, ready-to-submit material
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all generated content before use
• AI match scores are estimates and should not be your only factor in deciding whether to apply for a role
• AI salary estimates are approximations based on available data and may not reflect actual compensation
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content
• Career insights and market intelligence are informational only and do not constitute professional career advice

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all profile data, career information, and personal content you provide to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use this data to operate the platform, including processing it through AI models to provide scoring, matching, and document generation features. We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, algorithms, and underlying technology, is owned by Jobrador and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our brand name, logos, or trademarks.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Jobrador available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice when possible. Scheduled maintenance and updates may temporarily affect availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any job outcomes, hiring decisions, or career results arising from your use of the Service
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of job listings sourced from third-party job boards
• Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. We will delete your personal data within 30 days of account closure, except where retention is required by law. You may request an export of your data before closing your account.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Massachusetts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may close your account.
